I read some newspaper a few week ago,there is an association for those ppl strike by thunder in US.wow amazing, chances strike by thunder is 1,000,000 in 1,well lottery also not easy to win like tis,which is rare,but nothing is impossible.

Those ppl strike which have bad influence,such "memory decline",or even "Temporary or permanent lost memory",nervous,lost direction,brain and motion act inconsistently….the worse thing-death la.

Hmm,if GOD let u survive after strike by thunder ,BUT oni let u choose either "Lost direction" or "Lost memory"? which one will u choose? Lost memory,is same as lost experience,whatever u do,happy or sorrow. Hate or Love,all u will be forgotten,maybe sound so weird,forgot yr family,friends,colleagues,and even your love,sound so sad,u may use whole life to chase and catch back all yr memory lost. value it? waste time? it depends how u think,judge.

if u lost direction,wherever u go,lost yr way,lost security.well so scarey,cos there is so many housing board in SK,i lost my way surly.maybe dun even want to go out at all,or even keep walk the same path repeatedly…..

it difficult to choose,but we dun have a choice sometimes,so let "Mother Nature"to handle it. well the BEST is dun let thunder hit on u!!,hide indoor safely with coverup roof when there is any raining started. do not mobile or turn on tv,when there is lightning started,cos electric shock will lead by tat,do not go out,2 legs try to stand or sit on the ground.bring plastic umbrella,do not near window…..the SUPER BEST thing is take leave or day off,to sleep at home so tat never waste,the natural create the best time for us to rest…ZZZzzzZZZ…..

A thunderstorm, also called an electrical storm or lightning storm, is a form of weather characterized by the presence of lightning and its attendant thunder produced from a cumulonimbus cloud. The lightning is caused by an electrical charge that builds up inside the storm due to the movement of water droplets or crystals carried by the wind. Thunderstorms are usually accompanied by heavy rainfall (heavy downpours), strong winds, hail, and sometimes tornadoes. During the winter months, snowfall can occasionally take place in a thunderstorm. This occurrence is often termed thundersnow.

Formation:

Thunderstorms form when significant condensation— resulting in the production of a wide range of water droplets and ice crystals— occurs in an atmosphere that is unstable and supports deep, rapid upward motion. This often occurs in the presence of three conditions: sufficient moisture accumulated in the lower atmosphere, reflected by high temperatures; a significant fall in air temperature with increasing height, known as a steep adiabatic lapse rate; and a force such as mechanical convergence along a cold front to focus the lift.The process to initiate vertical lifting can be caused by:

1. unequal warming of the surface of the Earth
2. orographic lifting due to topographic obstruction of air flow, and
3. dynamic lifting because of the presence of a frontal zone.

As the air begins to lift, it eventually starts to cool and condensation takes place. When the moisture condenses, heat is released which further aids in the lifting process. If enough instability is present in the atmosphere, this process will continue long enough for cumulonimbus clouds to form, which supports lightning and thunder.

Lightning 

is an electrical discharge that occurs in a thunderstorm. It can be seen in the form of a bright streak (or bolt) from the sky. Lightning occurs when a charge is built up within a cloud. When a large enough charge is built up, a large discharge will occur and can be seen as lightning. The temperature of a lightning bolt can be hotter than the surface of the sun. Although the lightning is extremely hot, the short duration makes it not necessarily fatal. Contrary to the popular idea that lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same spot, some people have been struck by lightning over three times and skyscrapers like the Empire State Building have been struck numerous times in the same storm. There are several kinds of lightning.

• In-cloud lightning is the most common. It is lightning within a cloud. Sometimes called intra-cloud or sheet lightning.
• Cloud to ground lightning is when a bolt of lightning from a cloud strikes the ground. This form poses the greatest threat to life and property.
• Ground to cloud lightning is when a lightning bolt is induced from the ground to the cloud.
• Cloud to cloud lightning is rarely seen and is when a bolt of lightning arches from one cloud to another.
• Ball lightning is extremely rare and has no known scientific explanation. It is seen in the form of a 20 to 200 centimeter ball.
• Cloud to air lightning is when lightning from a cloud hits air of a different charge
